I've started to blog again, because some people have told me to. ("I check it every day and you still don't post.") You know who you are.
Anyways, in my absence I have obtained my driver's license, and I started playing viola in my school orchestra. I'm afraid I don't have any insightful thoughts at the moment, but don't worry. I'm sure something will come up.
Ha. Now you can't complain anymore.

Last Day Ever!
I'm the youngest of seven kids, and all of my older sibs have graduated from the same high school.
Today was my last day at that high school. Don't feel bad, though. I'm kind of the oddball in my family. But I'm not going to see my friends that often, and I can't take Japanese at my new high school. I have to dive into my new classes headfirst and learn a lot in a few days about what I'm doing.
I'm excited!

Moving 'n Stuff
Well, I'm leaving my current location and going to a new one. It's still in the same valley, though, so I'll be able to see my friends still. I'm not much for high school loyalty, so that's not a problem. Yeah.
I've got a violin recital Saturday, which means I won't be able to go to the release party of Shannon Hale's newest book, Book of a Thousand Days. Ah, well. Them's the breaks, kids.
And that's it. That's how interesting my life is.

What shall it be about?
I have no idea what this post is as I'm writing it. Don't worry, I'm sure something will come.
. . .
It's not coming. Ooh, but I bet you'll never guess which song I'm listening to. That's right, it IS Hungarian Dance No. 13. How did you know? Whatever. I'm just forcing myself to write words. I don't really want. Something has tied me to a metaphorical chair of some sort. Get me out!
Little Red Reading Hood is going good. The girls there are friendly.
I don't have to go to school tomorrow, at least. It's Labor Day! I'm totally going to the Onion Days carnival to visit my brother-in-law at the Scone Booth, where I will subsequently buy a scone. Hopefully, anyway.

Little Red Reading Hood: It's a Subject!
For those that don't know, there is an author named Shannon Hale. I just finished a book by her called River Secrets. It was a good book.
Anyway.
My older sister introduced me to a Shannon Hale forums website called Little Red Reading Hood, as she is a fan, too. There, a bunch of people write posts about how great Shannon Hale is and some other things.
And by people I mean girls.
I just made an account and my username is The_Boy. My sister recommended it. And do you know why?
It's because I am, essentially, the only boy on the entire website.
But I don't mind. I only started today, but I can already see the appeal of forums. And since virtually everyone there now knows that I am the brother of a frequent user, I had a grand old time chatting with others.
Still.
It's just the least bit unsettling.

Well, uh, this is kinda awkward
Okay, okay, it's been a long time(and I do mean a VERY long time) since I posted, and I just, you know, want to get back into the gist of things. Anyway, since when last I posted I've turned 16 and started school. And I can't think of any other major events for now. . .
Almost definitely the highlight of my birthday was getting a CD that had all of the Brahms Hungarian Dances arranged for violin and piano. Yeah, seriously, it's awexome. In addition to that, I also heard the Orchestra at Temple Square perform The Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 by Edvard Grieg, the The Grieg Piano Concerto in A Minor, and Beethoven's 5th Symphony. There were two video games I was promised on that day, but I've only received one.
We're moving. Yes, I thought I might as well come out with it. We're heading up further north so my dad can be closer to work. Unfortunately, that also means I'll be going to a new high school(I'm a Junior) 4 or 5 weeks into the school year. I'm the youngest of seven children and the first not to graduate from the high school I'm at now. Ah, well. Moving can't be that hard, right?
One of the reasons I'm making this post is to introduce you to(if you've not already heard of it) Astronomy Picture of the Day. Just typing the title makes me giddy. Here's one picture I thought was particularly cool:

I bet you're all like, "Whoa, what is that?" Well, here's the description on the website I got it from:
Is that not spiffy? A sonic boom, but the visual aspect! Anyway, check it out if you have the time(sorry about the whole there are links throughout the quote. Anyway, it's just more info on the subject).
Well, that's my epic post. Have a good one!

"Is this what a sonic boom looks like? When an airplane travels at a speed faster than sound, density waves of sound emitted by the plane cannot precede the plane, and so accumulate in a cone behind the plane. When this shock wave passes, a listener hears all at once the sound emitted over a longer period: a sonic boom. As a plane accelerates to just break the sound barrier, however, an unusual cloud might form. The origin of this cloud is still debated. A leading theory is that a drop in air pressure at the plane described by the Prandtl-Glauert Singularity occurs so that moist air condenses there to form water droplets. Above, an F/A-18 Hornet was photographed just as it broke the sound barrier. Large meteors and the space shuttle frequently produce audible sonic booms before they are slowed below sound speed by the Earth's atmosphere."

Awexome with an X! DS Style!
Well, it's been a while. Again. But I have good news! On Saturday I, along with my two sisters, nephew, and mother went to Wal-Mart. And I got a Black Nintendo DS Lite!
Ah, look at it with all of its majesty. I'm glad I got it with the extra shiny screen. And floating stylus. Okay, so that's not really MY DS, but I don't have a working digital camera in the house. But parts of it are as shiny as depicted. It has lotsa features, and I can't wait to actually try out a DS game on it. You know, since I don't have any.
In other news, I also had a masterclass on Saturday. Before the trip to Wal-Mart. For those who don't know what a masterclass is, it's where lowly students like me perform pieces for others before the actual performance. And that, of course, means I have a recital on Saturday. And that's a week before my birthday, people. Before I turn 16! Crazy, no? Yes.
But, you know, I didn't spontaneously combust at the masterclass, so I think I'll be I'll right at the recital. I still have a few jitters, though.
But don't worry, I'm not scratching.
